Training with integrity Certain factors are highly influential for the success of training and development sessions, so our programmes are based on the following beliefs and values: 1. Participants learn best when the trainer is aware of their particular needs, blocks and wants. 2. Participants get involved proactively in a training session when they feel safe to do so, and it is our job to create that relationship of trust. 3. Participants learn best when they are emotionally engaged by the material. Enjoyment and humour are important factors in achieving this. 4. Participants come to learn from very different standpoints, all of which are valid, for them. 5. There is learning of the specific material presented in a course, and there is deeper learning of relevance in wider contexts. We seek to promote both. 6. Learning is most likely to take place when delegates have chosen to be there and take responsibility for their own learning Director of Enlightened Ltd : JUDY APPS Judy Apps combines unusually a rich experience from the performing arts and a highly respected track record in leadership and management training. As Director of Enlightened Ltd, a UK based organisation, she runs training courses and coaching in all aspects of communication, with an emphasis on the areas of inspirational leadership, communication, presentation and voice. Her clients include senior executives, leaders and public speakers. Her background includes an honours degree in English from Bristol University, Diplomas from the Royal College of Music and the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and an early career singing and teaching in the UK and Italy. She is an NLP Trainer, graduate of the NLP University and member of the NLP University Global Trainers’ and Consultants’ Network, and an avid researcher and developer of business wisdom from many different sources. Taking her discoveries from the arts into leadership and management, during the past 10 years she as designed and developed many creative training programmes and worked with major corporations internationally. She has spent several years investigating the ingredients of inspiring performance. This has resulted in a programme of training that emphasises the reconnection of mind/body processes, and shows participants how to awaken that personal state of being which produces great performance. Her personalised techniques, combined with an energetic and encouraging approach have enabled hundreds of clients to achieve, seemingly effortlessly, great leaps not only in their ability to perform, but equally importantly, in their feelings about doing it. Her mission is to help people to discover more of themselves and thus release the store of untapped potential for their own fulfilment and the betterment of their world. Her method is to provide cutting edge learning through the renewal of energy and enjoyment for all involved, for the highly successful development of people and organisations.
